Ms Penny Purcell is a director of Portcullis Trust (New Zealand) Ltd, and graduated in law from the University of Auckland, NZ. She is responsible for liaising between the Group’s various offices on matters concerning corporate compliance policy and procedure.
Following the completion of her LLB/BCom (conjoint) degrees from the University of Auckland, Jana moved to Samoa in April 2016 where she has since been appointed as the in-house legal counsel with Portcullis Samoa. With previous experience in the Cook Islands international finance industry, Jana continues to develop her expertise, with a specific focus on the legal aspects of Samoa’s financial products and services.
Shanti joined on our Portcullis Samoa team in 2006, having previously worked in Samoa’s insurance industry. Since that time, Shanti has built a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the corporate services department of Portcullis Samoa, which she supervises to ensure its continued efficiency and success.
Thomas joined Portcullis Samoa in 2007, having been previously employed with the People’s Republic of China Embassy situated in Apia. With experience in the international finance industry, Thomas is also continuing his management studies at the National University of Samoa.
Having been previously employed by one of Australia’s largest banks, Helen relocated to Samoa and joined the Portcullis Samoa team in 2008. A successful stint with corporate services led to Helen being appointed as the Compliance Officer and Reporting Officer, ensuring Portcullis Samoa’s compliance with Samoa’s AML/CFT legal framework.
Lawrence joined Portcullis Samoa in 2004, after spending a year providing charitable services in South East Asia. In April 2016, he joined the Compliance department where his previous experience in corporate services has proven an advantage.
